How we operate for you

  • Initial Chat

    Brief chat with an adviser, this will give you an opportunity to find out more about our proposition and discuss your requirements. The adviser will also be able to confirm if a fee (see below for further details) will be charged for our service. If you are happy to proceed, the adviser will move to stage 2 – Factfind

  • Factfind

    The Adviser will gather all the relevant information required to make a recommendation and process your application. We offer various options to complete the Factfind for your convenience.

    You can complete the factfind online (You will be given access to our secure system for you to complete the form in your own time) or with the adviser over the telephone.

    We also offer Face to Face appointments, including home visits in the evening and weekend

  • Research

    The Adviser will use the information collected in the Factfind to research lenders, providers and products to prepare their recommendation. We will also check the lender’s criteria for eligibility

  • Recommendation

    The Adviser will present their recommendation to you, confirming whether your Needs & Demands from the factfind have been fully met. They will also go through the Illustrations, terms and any restrictions which may apply so you can make an informed choice on whether to accept the recommendation(s)

    The adviser will also provide a Suitability Report within 5 working days of recommendation outlining recommendation in writing

  • Application

    If you are happy to proceed with the Adviser’s recommendation, they will complete the application form(s) and gather the relevant documents required to process the application(s) on your behalf

  • Processing

    The Adviser will then package your case and submit to the Lender. We will work with the lender to arrange valuation and process the application to offer

  • Offer

    When the Offer is issued, a copy will be forwarded to you. Adviser will check the Offer for accuracy and if necessary liaise will your Solicitor. At this stage, the finances are in place and ready to be release once conveyancing checks are completed by your solicitor

  • Review

    When your transaction has completed, we will diarise a review for few months before your deal is due to expire so your mortgage does not revert to the lenders standard variable rate (SVR) without your knowledge
